Exchange Mobile Food Truck

 

 

 

Description

Also referred to as "Mobile Food Services", and more commonly called "the Korean barbecue", the truck sells mostly "fast food" items.  It is particularly well-known for its barbecue specials.

 

Obviously, the point of having a Mobile Food Truck is that it moves.  According to its official schedule, it spends most of the morning inside the ARC fence. Among other things, that means it's not easily reached by foreign nationals (who need escorts to get through the ARC gates).  However, from 10 AM until 4 PM its outside the ARC fence, where it's accessible to pretty much everyone.

 

The schedule and menu are available on the Exchange web site, but that's only accessible if you're on the hard-line ARC/Moffett Field network.  They are reproduced below.  This information that shown on the web site as of July 2, 2008.  However, there is at least one error:  the truck is no longer at Bldg 566 from 10:30 AM to 4 PM, but instead is in the parking lot east of Building 17.

 

Note:  The Food Truck has been seen for the past several Saturdays (as of July 2) parked near Building 17 around lunch time.  As such, it is the only known place to buy food on Moffett Field during the weekend.  (Which is why so much space and effort went into listing the entire menu, below.)  Hours and locations for Saturday mornings or Sundays, if any, are unknown.
