Things We Know We're Missing
- Golf course and clubhouse access - The golf course is mentioned in passing on the Inside ARC-Moffett Field page (its page hasn't been populated yet), but I've been wondering: can someone without a hard badge (just a "Visitor" badge) go to the golf course and play a round? What about the clubhouse (Tee minus one)? Can we bring friends who do not have an Ames badge?
- geology clubs - If you're studying the geology of the Moon, Mars, Apophis, or whatever, it might be handy to talk shop from time to time with people who study the Earth. Also, the Bay area has some interesting geology in its own right.
- hair/nail places - Probably best not to rely on the wiki founder's advice when it comes to fashion. Anyone out there with fashion sense? Anyone? Beuller?
- planetariums - Does anyone know of any good ones close by?
- rideshare - A self-organized program for getting around could save a lot of gas and hassle.
- rocket clubs - There has to be a group of amateur rocket enthusiasts around here somewhere.
- Top Ten Things to Know When Starting at Ames - Well, there's a start on it, at least. But it needs more input, big-time.
