Description

There's a swimming pool on ARC/Moffett Field.  It's located about two blocks from the Lodge, so it's within easy walking distance.  It's an outdoor pool (you won't find many indoors in central California), 25 meters long and heated.

The pool has signs up indicating that it's for members only, and this is repeated on the web site.  However, there are also prices listed for non-members who want to use the pool.  Anyone with first-hand experience swimming in the pool is invited to edit this page and clear up the confusion.

Besides the pool itself and the usual locker rooms and showers, there's also some fitness equipment, a picnic area, a gazebo, and a volleyball court.

There are periods during the day when the pool is open only for adult laps, so plan accordingly.  Also, the pool can be reserved for special events, during which time it is closed to everyone else.

Platinum Membership:  $380/yr (no daily fees)

Single Membership:  $60/yr (plus $3 entrance fee per use)

Family Membership:  $80/yr (plus $3 entrance fee per use)

Lap Passes:  $50 for 20 uses (good for lap swimming periods only, sold only to members)

Non-Members:  $5 entrance fee per use
