NASA Exchange Lodge Kitchens
Description
Buildings 583A and 583B each have a kitchen on their respective second floors. Each is equipped with two stoves, at least one microwave oven, a large sink, lots of counter space, a small table and a few chairs, and two dishwashers. Like the dishwashers in most apartments, their ability to successfully wash dishes is something of a roll of the dice, but they can be handy.
The kitchens have basic pots and pans, and have at least a few spatulas, spoons, etc. They are more than adequate for your average frozen pizza, but if you're planning to cook something complicated you may need to bring some of your own gear.
You won't find much tableware in the kitchens. Plates, bowls, glasses, forks, spoons, and knives are not provided. You may be able to scrounge up a few, but plan on having your own. Sharp knives also seem to be in short supply. Scrubbing pads, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent may or may not be available; you may want to bring your own.
There's a lot of unused cabinet and drawer space, and a full-sized refrigerator. Some lodge residents store a few supplies in the kitchen rather than in their rooms. Swiping someone else's stuff is, as always, bad form.
