Digibarn Computer Museum
Description
Digibarn is a computer history museum. It's a real barn. Not just as in "it looks like a barn", or even "it used to be a barn", but a "there are pigs wandering around outside" barn. The pigs seem to be mascots, of a sort.
Unusual accommodations aside, Digibarn is also different in that it's a very hands-on museum. Much of the hardware is in working order, and visitors are encouraged to try it out. The museum web site acknowledges that this means, every now and again, something will get broken. So they

Location
The museum is in Boulder Creek, a small town about 25 miles south of Moffett Field. However, the web site doesn't give a phyiscal address. Or if it does, it's well hidden.

According to wikipedia, the museum is open less frequently during the rainy winter months. Whether that's accurate, your guess is as good as anyone's.
Cost
The web site doesn't list a fee, though donationas are accepted. So with apologies to Hugo Weaving, it is "apparently, FREE."
